ABOUT

I'm Mollie, a photographer based in York. My current practice focuses very much on food, using my passion for colour, the aesthetics within an image,  and the surroundings of the dish to create the most optimal photograph. The desire when photographing food is to portray the vision that the creator of the dish has, inviting those in to study the colours and placement of the often intricate elements that make up the overall dish.

I also have a fascination with the tolls that modern life takes on us all. Using portraiture as a way to illustrate this. Showcasing this with the use of aesthetics concerning colour and placement, integrating the struggles and progressive nature of social life and media within my work.
